Now it’s time to use your Amp to strip the Ropalolyst’s shield. Climb on top of the shield when it is down by pressing the designated button(e.g., X). Once you’re on top, you’ll be in control. Use the Amp to guide the Ropalolyst straight into the charged pylons.

With it’s flying ability disabled, you can now engage the Ropalolyst like other Eidolons. Attack it’s weak spots, particularly the two Synovia nodes located on it’s back.
