Closing 2023 on a good note, Telegram rolled out a fresh update to add new features and fix bugs on it’s platform, offering users a better experience than ever.
The fresh update added a Thanos Snap-type effect while deleting messages, a redesigned call interface, improved call quality and the ability for bots to react to messages.
Telegram v10.5 Highlights
Telegram continues to amaze us with it’s capabilities and stands as the No.1 instant messenger today. Astonishingly, the platform has passed nine significant feature updates in 2023, with the latest one on the last day of the year.
Termed Telegram v10.5, the update brings a redesigned call interface with fluid animations and several bug fixes. Furthermore, the call background can change dynamically based on the call status. Also, the new interface feels lightweight with reduced elements, making it operate better on older devices, saving battery life. Call and connection quality has also been improved, noted Telegram.
This aside, the update adds a slick Thanos Snap Effect for disappearing messages. This was tested on the Telegram iOS beta app for a while and has now arrived on the stable channel for Android and iOS. Finally, the most significant update to Telegram 10.5 is the extended abilities of Bots, which can now react to messages, manage reactions, quotes, links and more. In August, it made Stories available for everyone, followed by Live Voice Transcription for calls in November, making the platform more interactive and inclusive.
