Fresh leaks coming from reliable tipsters reveal the body design of Sony’s Xperia 10 V – a mid-range phone from the Xperia 10 Series that has similar potential to fail on launch.
As we expect Sony to be stubborn about modern changes, it at least gave a needed change to the body design. Though the leaked renders looked similar to it’s predecessor, the Xperia 10 V is having a bit thicker body and a 6.1″ display. The launch timeline and internal specifications of this device are still unknown.
Sony’s New Mid-Range Xperia Smartphone
Sony, the Japanese OEM that has resounding success in many wings – is utterly failing in the smartphone business for over a decade. Yet, the company continues to push new Xperia phones every year without making any modern changes as asked by the community.
In this pursuit, we may see the Sony Xperia 10 V coming later this year, as the details of this handset started leaking this week. Coming from reliable tipsters like Steve Hemmerstoffer’s Onleaks and The Tech Outlook, the leaked CAD renders of Xperia 10 V look a bit more convincing than it’s predecessor.
The renders and a video detailing it’s key features show that the phone features a 6.1″ display, an increased body size of 5%, and a camera bump going up to 9.4mm thick! Sony sticks to fitting the 3.5mm headphone jack intact – something we see in all Sony’s flagships.
Though the phone’s body design is almost identical to the Xperia 10 IV – which had just received it’s Android 13 update – we expect the successor to be a bit better. Details for when this phone would launch and the internal specifications are still unknown, but we expect them to leak in the coming months though.
Well, the company has launched it’s Xperia 10 IV in May last year, so we can hopefully expect it’s successor to arrive around that time.
