Samsung today unveiled the latest, and probably the last notebook in it’s Galaxy Book3 line-up – Samsung Galaxy Book3 Go – for $430 in South Korea.
The new laptop is very similar to it’s predecessor, Galaxy Book2 Go, with the only updated feature being fast charging. With stripped features and limited storage options, this laptop is aimed at college students and as a secondary notebook for office workers.
Samsung Galaxy Book3 Go Specifications
As we wait for the next-gen Galaxy Book4 notebooks, Samsung unveiled a stripped variant of Galaxy Book3 as the Go model this week. Equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7c+ Gen 3 processor, the new Galaxy Book3 Go has a 14″ IPS LCD screen with FHD resolution and anti-glare coating.
Running on Windows 11, the new notebook has a 720p webcam, a ten-keyless keyboard, and a large trackpad. With 4GB LPDRRx RAM and 128GB eUFS storage, the laptop possesses a microSD card slot for expanded storage.
With several native features like Buds Auto Switch, Multi Control, Second Screen, and Quick Share, the laptop supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.1 for wireless connectivity while also having a USB Type-A port, two USB Type-C ports and a headphone+mic combo jack for wired connectivity.
Weighing around 1.5kg, the Galaxy Book3 Go supports 45W fast charging and can last up to 8 hours after 30 minutes charge. Probably, this is the only notable improvement from it’s predecessor. The device is priced at KRW 557,700($430) in South Korea and will be available from January 2, 2023, via the Samsung Store(online and offline) and from three mobile network carriers(KT, LG Uplus, and SKT).
