In an unexpected twist, Samsung unveiled a new wearable device for users to track their health – Galaxy Ring, alongside the Galaxy S24 Series.
While we know that Samsung is working on a smart ring, there have been no leaks about it till now, making it seem like Samsung is not yet ready. Well, the company hasn’t shared any details of the Galaxy Ring yet, but teased us with a focus on it’s AI features.
Samsung Galaxy Ring With AI Features
At the end of Galaxy Unpacked 2024, right when everyone thought the event was over, Samsung surprised the attendees with a new product teaser – the Galaxy Ring. The Samsung-branded smart ring was long reported to be in the works but with no leaks or tips, we assumed that Samsung wasn’t ready for it’s launch.

Well, countering our assumptions, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Ring at Thursday’s event, creating a new product line. While the ring specifications haven’t been revealed, Samsung said the device will offer health tracking and AI features. As we wait to see what they are, a patent filing last year showed the smart ring to provide an EKG and smart home controls.
This would rival Oura Ring and the recently launched Amazfit Helio Ring, and many more coming from other OEMs. Hopefully, Samsung won’t take long to share more details on it’s Galaxy Ring.
