Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+ last week in an effort to rival Apple’s iPad and Microsoft’s Surface tablets. In this article we will be looking at the specs, release date and price of these tablets.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+: Design & Display
Design wise these tablets look familiar to the Galaxy Tab S6 and S6+. A long design element extends from the cameras in the back.
Display wise, the Galaxy Tab S7 features an 11-inch LTPS LCD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 (16:10). The Galaxy Tab S7+ features a 12.4-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2800 x 1752 (16:10). Both displays have a refreshment rate of 120 Hz, resulting in a smooth content experience.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+: Hardware
Hardware wise, both tablets feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC. Both tabs offer two RAM and NAND storage options: 6/8 GB and 128/256 GB respectively.
The tablets feature one 8 MP front camera and two rear cameras (5 mp ultra-wide angle and 13 mp wide-angle). They support USB-C connection.
The S7 features an 8000 mAh battery while the S7+ features a bigger 10,090 mAh battery. Both tablets support 45 Super-fast charging and come with an 18W charger.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+: Release Date
Both the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ will be available in select markets on August 21.
In the United States, the tablets are expected to release sometime later this year (probably in the Fall).
Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+: Price
All in all, there are 8 different versions of the new Galaxy Tab. So far, Samsung has only revealed the prices for the European markets. But these prices can be used to make a rough estimate of the US price.
The Galaxy Tab S7 will be available in four versions. The 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage Wi-Fi version has been priced at 699€/£619. The 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage Wi-Fi version has been priced at 779€. The 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage LTE version has been priced at 799€/£719. And the 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage LTE version has been priced at 879€.
Likewise, the Galaxy Tab S7+ will also available in four versions. The 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage Wi-Fi version has been priced at 899€/£799. The 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage Wi-Fi version has been priced at 979€. The 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage 5G version has been priced at 1099€/£999. And the 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage 5G version has been priced at 1179€.
