Samsung has recently introduced their unique variant of the Galaxy S20 and Samsung is calling it The Galaxy S20 Tactical Edition.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Tactical Edition comes as a mission-ready smartphone solution for operators in the federal government and Department of Defense (DoD).
The Samsung Galaxy S20 TE comes with a DualDAR architecture that gives two layers of data encryption based on the NSA standards to secure up to top-secret level data for classified missions.
The variant helps operators stay connected in multi-domain operations. It features support for Private SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 6 and CBRS to ensure connectivity during multi-domain environments.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 TE features a night-vision mode allowing operators to turn display on or off wearing night vision eyewear. Stealth mode allows one to disable LTE and mute all RF broadcasting for complete off-grid communications.
The handset will be powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 865 Soc which allows for the running of multiple mission applications in the field (ATAK, APASS, KILSWITCH, BATDOK) whilst its DeX software gives a PC like experience.
