Redmi along with 8″ Smart Display has also recently introduced their premium Redmi Smart TV Max 98″.
As suggested by the name, it will feature a 98-inch 4K Display which comes with a 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution. It features 192 partition dynamic backlight along with MEMC Motion compensation and delivers HDR 10 quality. The screen also has a 178-degree wide viewing angles.
The Redmi Smart TV Max 98″ comes packed with a 1.9GHz quad-core Amlogic T972 processor along with a Mali-G31 MP2 GPU. For smooth performance, the smart TV will feature a 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal memory. The SoC is jointly developed by Xiaomi and Amlogic and will give the user about 63% improved performance and up to 55% power efficiency.
The Smart TV will also feature PatchWall Artificial Intelligence which is also present in Xiaomi Smart TV’s. This Redmi TV also features Bluetooth voice remote control. The Smart TV Max comes with a dual 8W speakers with DTS Audio and Dolby Audio. Their will be a 4 unit large cavity speaker design for optimum audio experience.
This TV supports several formats including H.264, MPEG1/2/4 and Real. Standard connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.2, three HDMI (one with ARC), two USB ports, S/PDIF and Ethernet will also be included.
The Redmi Smart TV Max 98″ is currently priced at 19999 Yuan (USD$ 2830 / Rs. 2,15,400 approximately). Sale will commence in China starting from the 19th of April.
