Xiaomi’s Redmi Brand has officially introduced their latest Redmi Note Series smartphones called the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. Specifications of the smartphone are at par with earlier leaks.
Both Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max will share several specifications and a similar design. These will come with an IR Sensor and will have a with side mounted fingerprint sensor. The smartphone will run on Android 10 based MIUI 11.
These smartphone will feature a 6.67-inch LCD Dot-Display along with FHD+ resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio. The display will come with anti-oil and Fingerprint coating and will have Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is rated at P2i splash resistant and there is a coating on the inside as well.
The smartphone will come packed with an octa-core Snapdragon 720G processor on the inside. Depending on the model, these Redmi Note 9 series smartphones will come in variants of 4GB / 6GB / 8GB RAM along with 64GB / 128GB storage space. The storage space can be further expanded up to 256GB utilizing a dedicated MicroSD card slot.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro will come with a 16MP selfie camera. This will consist of a 48MP + 8MP + 5MP + 2MP cam shooters. The smartphone will be powered by a 5020 mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max will feature a 32MP front camera. It will consist of a 64MP (main) + 8MP (wide-angle) + 5MP (macro) + 2MP (depth) sensor. The handset will be powered by a 5020 mAh battery but supports 33W fast charging.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max 6GB/64GB variant will cost Rs. 14,999 whilst its premium 8GB/128GB variant price-tag will be at Rs. 16,999. It will be available in colours of Glacier White, Interstellar Black and Aurora Blue colors. The smartphone’s sale will commence from the 25th of March 25th via Amazon.in, Mi.com and Mi Home Store.
