Not long ago we were surprised by the appearance of the newest mysterious cellphone box from Xiaomi. The word “Note 5A” printed on the front side of the box, made the public speculate, is this a new affordable mobile variant being prepared by Xiaomi?

Over time, the figure of Redmi Note 5A has become more apparent. Through the latest release from one of the telecommunications sites in China HiCDMA, with the code MDE6, Redmi Note 5A appears without a veil. At first glance, the Redmi Note 5A looks so similar to its little brother, the Redmi 4A, it’s just that the size is bigger thanks to the swelled screen dimensions.
This was felt by TENAA, who also published the Redmi Note 5A form, but with a slightly different code, namely MDT6. However, the code does not seem to provide many changes related to the specifications that will be adopted in the Redmi Note 5A later. What distinguishes it is only the gold color that previously appeared on HiCDMA turns gray tended to silver. For more details, here are the specifications of the Redmi Note 5A compiled from TENAA.
UPDATE: Apparently Xiaomi didn’t just prepare one Redmi Note 5A variant, it was proven after another cellphone similar to the MDT6S and MDE6S codes appeared shortly afterwards. There are a number of additional features in this new cellphone, namely the presence of a fingerprint sensor and RAM size and internal storage which has become larger, 3 GB and 32 GB, respectively. The processor also changed with the number of eight cores as fast as 1.4 GHz, which seemed to lead to Snapdragon 430/435. And the front camera whose sensor changes to 16 MP.

Through his personal account on the Weibo social network, one of the top brass of Xiaomi showed off the form of Redmi Note 5A in a rendering display.
Present in pink, silver and gold, Redmi Note 5A looks intended for young people. It is not yet clear what material is in the cell phone’s backing area, but if it is monitored at a glance, it looks like metal.
