The Redmi 9 has recently appeared via e-retailer Lazada, where most of the specifications were unveiled as well as photos of the upcoming handset.
According to the e-commerce website, the Redmi will feature a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC and will be available in variants of a 3GB RAM along with a 32GB ROM and 4GB RAM along with 64GB storage space.
The Redmi 9 specs includes 6.53-inch multi-touch FHD+ display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It has a notch which houses 8MP front camera.
On the rear end there are four cameras that are vertically aligned which consists of a 13MP (main) + 8MP (ultra-wide angle) + 5MP (macro) + 2MP (depth) cameras. There is a rear facing fingerprint sensor just below it.
The Redmi 9 will be powered by a 5020mAh battery capacity and supports 18W fast charging. The battery is claimed to give user a maximum of 34 hours of calling time or 171 hours of music playback.

According to Lazada, the Redmi 9 3GB/32GB is currently priced at PHP 6990 ($140/€125) whilst the Redmi 9 4GB/64GB variant will costs PHP 7490 ($150/€135). It will be available in three different color variants of Purple, Green and Grey shades. Official launch is will be unveiled soon.
