Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has recently introduced their Redmi Smart Display 8″ along with its Redmi K30 Pro series. The company’s smart display will feature an 8-inch multi-touch screen, 1280 x 800 pixels resolution and also has 178-degree wide viewing angles.
The Redmi Smart Display 8″ comes with an in Bluetooth Mesh gateway which allows easy connectivity with Bluetooth enabled devices with a single click. The company says that their device can control more than 2000 devices with voice and touch screen.
It will allow the user to easily control smart home devices including security cameras. Their will also be voice commands and support for hand gestures for ease.
The Redmi Smart Display 8-inch will also feature a 3rd Generation XiaoAi AI assistant. It also has a 720p front camera for making video calls. Standard connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth V5.0 for streaming music will also be available.
The Redmi Smart Display 8″ is currently priced at 349 Yuan (USD$ 49 / Rs. 3750 approximately) and will be available for crowd funding on official Xiaomi Channels in China commencing from the 27th of March.
