Recently a new Realme smartphone along with model number RMX2072 has been certified by TENAA. Rumored to be the Realme X50 Pro Player Edition.
The Realme RMX2072 features similarities with the Realme X50 Pro 5G. One of the main similarities that we notice is the cut-down camera setup and its very slight battery capacity along with fast charging.
The RMX 2072 variant comes with a 16MP + 2MP dual front facing cameras located inside a punch hole. On the rear end there is a quad-camera setup which is vertically aligned at the top left consisting of a 48MP (main) + 8MP (wide-angle) + 2MP (depth) + 2MP (probably macro) cameras and LED Flash.
According to TENAA the Realme X50 Pro Player Edition comes with a 6.44-inch multi-touch AMOLED display along with 2400 x 1080 pixels FHD+ resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio.
The handset comes packed with an octa-core Snapdragon 865 SoC. The smartphone will be featured in a 6GB / 8GB / 12GB RAM along with 128GB / 256GB / 512GB storage variants. However there is no MicroSD card slot.
The RMX2072 will be powered by a 2055mAh battery, giving a total of 4110mAh capacity. There will be support for fast charging (65W 10VDC, 6.5A max) according to 3C certification.
The smartphone features dual sim, 5G (SA/NSA) and Dual 4G VoLTE support. It will run on Android 10 along with Realme UI and comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor for fast unlocking.
Connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.1, Dual Frequency GPS (L1+L5), USB Type-C and NFC should also be supported as well.
The Realme X50 Pro Player Edition RMX2072 will be available in colours of Dark Black and Silver White. The smartphone is set to launch on the 25th of May.
