Portable digital products maker Portronics has recently introduced something unique in India. The Portronics Biolock is the company’s latest Fingerprint Padlock.
The Biolock is a smart biometric padlock which can be utilized for various purposes ranging from locking doors to cabinets, storage lockers or bikes etc.
It features stainless steel along with a rugged zinc alloy coating for tamper resistance. The Biolock is rated at IP66 rated making it water and dust resistant. It’s Weighs just about 59 grams. The Biolock will feature LED indicators.
The Portronics Biolock has the capacity to store up to 40 fingerprints. Authorized personnel can unlock it in just about 0.5 seconds and does not need any form of keys or password.
The Biolock will be powered by a 100 mAh battery which can be fully charged up in about 30 minutes. The Company claims that it will last up to 6 months and is rechargeable utilizing a 5V USB adapter.
The Portronics Biolock is currently priced at Rs. 2999 in India and is backed by a 12 months warranty. It is available online for purchase via Flipkart starting from Rs. 1899.
