A month after Google announced it, the original Pixel Watch is receiving Do Not Disturb and Bedtime sync, letting users silent notifications when needed.
This feature has been available on the Pixel Watch 2 since it’s launch and is now being added to it’s predecessor. Users should enable it in the Notification section of their Pixel Watch companion app to start syncing the phone data.
Pixel Watch DND and Bedtime Mode
Pixel Watch is one of the finest smartwatches we have today, embedded with exciting features and the purest WearOS from Google. The smartwatch encompasses several tracking features, all pushing regular notifications that may junk your system.
Well, Google has specific modes to keep you away from such spams, like the Do Not Disturb and Bedtime mode. This is a common feature on most smartphones and now has now arrived on the original Pixel Watch.
The feature was scheduled to arrive in Google’s Pixel Feature Drop in December 2023 but was delayed, unfortunately. The company has notified users that it may rollout “over the next few weeks depending on the carrier and device“, so it’s understandable.
Anyhow, it’s now live on the Pixel Watch and can be found in the Notifications section of the Pixel Watch companion app. Users should toggle on the feature “Do Not Disturb & Bedtime” to start syncing.
This aside, Google added new watch faces and Call Screen functionality to the Pixel Watch, during it’s December Pixel feature drop.
