The OPPO Ace2 smartphone has finally unveiled. It is Oppo’s latest 5G smartphone which will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor and comes with facial recognition support.
The smartphone will sport a thickness of 8.6mm and comes with a metal frame and gradient glass back. There will be dual SIM slots support with the primary one supporting 5G (SA/NSA).
The smartphone will run on ColorOS 7.1 which is based on Android 10. It features Breeno assistant and comes with several performance enhancement features such as Hyper Boost 3.0 and Link Boost 2.0.
The Oppo Ace2 specifications will feature a 6.55-inch multi-touch OLED display along with 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. It also features FHD+ resolution and comes with a 91.7% screen-to-body ratio.
The smartphone comes packed with an octa-core Snapdragon 865 SoC on the inside. The smartphone also packs 4D cooling which includes carbon fiber and a vapor cooling chamber.
The OPPO Ace 2 will be available in several variants. Its 8GB RAM along with 128GB / 256GB storage variant will have LPDDR4X RAM whilst its flagship 12GB RAM / 256GB storage model comes with LPDDR5 RAM.
The handset will be powered by a 4000mAh battery (2000mAh x 2) which supports 65W SuperVOOC flash charge. Oppo says that the smartphone charges to 100% in less than 30 minutes. The handset also supports 40W Air VOOC wireless charging which fully charges Ace2 in 56 minutes. 10W wireless reverse charging is also supported. Oppo’s Air VOOC wireless fast charge will feature air cooling by means of a fan which keeps the temperature under 39°C.
The Oppo Ace2 will feature a quad-camera setup on the rear end. It consists of a 48MP (main) + 8MP (ultra-wide-angle) + 2MP (portrait) + 2MP (mono) cameras with Ultra steady video mode, OIS, EIS and 4K video recording support. It has a punch hole that holds the 16MP front camera.
