Nothing, a slightly new brand in the world of tech has jumped on the bandwagon of AI. As more and more companies are introducing AI to their offerings. The British company has announced a partnership with OpenAI and has integrated ChatGPT with Nothing EAR and Nothing OS.
The newly launched Nothing EAR and EAR A have a full integration of ChatGPT. Users first have to set a shortcut for ChatGPT then they can activate the AI assistant and use it on EAR and EAR A. Users can set a pinch shortcut to activate the AI assistant. Once the shortcut is set, users need to pinch the stem of the earbuds to activate the ChatGPT, then they will be able to directly talk with ChatGPT.
Users have to tap on the earbuds to stop the conversation after they are finished. To use the assistant, users must be on Nothing OS version 2.5.5 and they have to set the shortcut first using the Nothing X app to activate ChatGPT on their earbuds. The company has announced that the ChatGPT integration is coming to all of it’s products including CMF. The AI assistant update will start rolling out in June 2024.
The company’s Nothing OS is also getting the taste of AI assistant through the integration of ChatGPT. Users having version 2.5.5 can add the ChatGPT widget on their home screen for text and voice conversation but users have to first install the ChatGPT Android app from the Play Store to get a taste of the AI assistant on their smartphones. This will work separately from the dedicated ChatGPT widget that is available on all devices that have the app installed.
The company will also bring a clipboard to the ChatGPT shortcut to allow users to directly paste the copied text on ChatGPT to initiate a conversation. This will make the user experience more efficient and pleasant, and make it more convenient for the users to chat with the AI chatbot.
