Motorola has officially scheduled an Event for the 22nd of April where they will introduced their next set of flagships called the Motorola Edge and Motorola Edge+ 5G. These smartphones were initially slated to go official at MWC 2020 but got canceled due to the novel coronavirus outbreak.
Infamous tipster Evan Blass has already leaked images of the Motorola Edge+ 5G so have an idea of what the smartphone design will look like. It comes with a curved display on both sides and also comes with an impressive screen-to-body ratio.
There is a punch hole inside screen located at the top left corner for its selfie camera which is rumored to be a 25MP camera. The Motorola Edge and Edge+ both will feature vanilla Android 10 OS which features a stock Android experience.
The leaked details about the Motorola Edge series will feature a 6.67-inch 90Hz OLED display along with Full HD+ resolution. The handset comes with a triple rear camera setup.
The Motorola Edge camera setup will consist of a 64MP (main) + 16MP (ultra-wide) + 8MP (telephoto) cameras on the rear end along with dual-tone LED Flash. The processing will be handled by a Snapdragon 765G SoC and the smartphone will run a 4500mAh battery.
According to the rumors the Motorola Edge+ 5G will comes packed with an octa-Core Snapdragon 865 SoC. Its camera setup consist of a 108MP (main) + 16MP (ultra-wide) + 8MP (telephoto) cameras on the rear end. The smartphone will be powered by a larger 5000mAh battery.
The Motorola Edge Series is slated to go official next week on the 22nd of April at an online e-event. It will commence at 11 AM CDT. All further details will be confirmed at that online e-event.
