After last year’s absence, Motorola X series phones will continue this year.
The continued fate of the latest generation of Motorola Moto X puzzles seems to have begun to shed some light. When last year Motorola (Lenovo) impressed the series because it focused on Moto Z, this year Moto X is ready to return.

At first heard the news that this release phone will be called Moto X 2017. Then it was as if denied by a statement from the master leak, @evleaks who through his account said that the last name of this phone is Moto X4.

If we look back a little in the past, Moto X is a historic cellphone for Motorola. The reason the first generation Moto X is Motorola’s first collaboration phone when they were bought by the search engine company, Google. The concoction between the two is arguably the starting point for the rise of Motorola in the world mobile industry. Motorola Moto X at that time appeared with a new style, a new rounded design language, and infiltrated by a number of technologies that were not common in its time, for example with a dedicated processing facility to present additional features such as Active Display and Touchless Control.
Besides that, Moto X was indeed created with the main objective of presenting superior functionality even though the specifications are arguably not the highest, but this actually has an impact on the price tag of a slightly cheaper price than competitors. This principle continues for generations after generations. The same thing is very likely to be applied to this fourth generation Moto X.
Speaking of specifications, this sector has often been revealed on several occasions. One of them is the leak of a video presentation for internal spread in cyberspace.
In the video it is clearly written that the Moto X4 will have a metal body and on the front you’ll find a 3D glass panel (which seems like this is just a marketing language for the 2.5D contour screen). Then there is also the Smart Camera feature, I don’t know for sure how to work from this feature, which is clear if we look at the video above carefully, then the dual camera configuration behind the Moto X4 looks very real.
To be continued, Moto X4 also seems to have waterproof and dust protection with IP68 certification. And don’t miss the Turbo Charging feature that makes charging a cellphone battery faster. The interesting thing is precisely the words AI Integration & Always on Voice. I wonder what is being prepared by Motorola from this feature, whether designing features like Bixby on Samsung or optimizing Google-made AI that is Google Assistant. This AI also seems to be directly integrated with the Always on Voice feature that it will carry.
The myriad features of the Moto X4 are indeed worth making us curious, unfortunately Motorola has not yet opened its mouth related to the sequel of the latest X series.
