Microsoft’s Copilot AI for Office 365 suite is now available to all businesses that pay $30 per user, per month.

Previously, this was limited to a team of at least 300 members, paying $30 each. The Copilot AI is cooked into all major apps of Office 365, from Word to PowerPoint and Outlook, to help you in your daily tasks.

Microsoft’s Copilot AI is expanding it’s reach and revenue by adding two new paid tiers – a business and consumer version, to aid users in their daily works.

Microsoft has already integrated Copilot to it’s Office 365 suite back in November but it is strictly limited to businesses of at least 300 people or more. Well, this bar has now been removed to allow businesses of any size to avail Copilot for Office 365 by paying $30 a month, per user.

Talking to The Verge, Microsoft’s Global Head of Marketing for Search and AI, Divya Kumar, said, “Given the demand and interest we’ve heard from small and medium-sized businesses, we’re removing that 300-seat minimum”.

There’s also a consumer version of Copilot for Office 365, called Copilot Pro, costing $20 per user per month. These two plans sit alongside the regular free version of Copilot, which has been available since last year to individuals and businesses.

Microsoft said that the Copilot for Office 365 can change the way documents are created and edited. For example, the AI assistant can generate text in documents, create PowerPoint presentations based on Word documents and use PivotTables in Excel.

In Microsoft Teams, the chatbot can summarize a meeting you never attended or the one you arrived late to. Email threads in Outlook can also be summarised, and Copilot can create draft email responses with various tones or lengths. The tool is cooked into the chat bar of all the apps of the Office 365 suite, letting you invoke it immediately when needed.
