Microsoft has started rolling out it’s Copilot AI app for all Android users globally, and the best thing is that the app is entirely free, and there is no requirement for a sign in.
For those who didn’t know, Copilot is a rebranded version of Bing Chat, which Microsoft introduced with Windows 11 a few months back. With Copilot, Microsoft basically brought it’s chat assistant and other related AI tools into one app, which users can now use on their Android smartphones for free.
The app is now showing on the Google Play store for download worldwide and if you cannot get the app from the Play store, wait, the app will show up in your country soon. This is the update to Bing Chat, which is now rebranded to Copilot. So you can see the Bing chat app on the Play Store or the Copilot app if the update is available in your country. If you already have a Bing chat app downloaded on your Android smartphone, then update your app from the Google Play Store; if the update is available or wait for the update.
Those using iPhones have to wait as the Copilot AI app is not available for iOS as of now, which is quite surprising. However, we hope that Microsoft is also working on the iOS app for it’s AI assistant, and iOS users will soon be able to use it on their iPhones.
As per the Google Play Store listing, the Copilot AI app can do this, “Copilot is a pioneering chat assistant from Microsoft powered by the latest OpenAI models, GPT-4 and DALL·E 3. These advanced AI technologies provide fast, complex, and precise responses, as well as the ability to create breathtaking visuals from simple text descriptions. Chat and create all in one place—for free!”
