Meta Quest+ Subscription

After introducing paid verification for Facebook and Instagram profiles, Meta has developed a paid subscription for it’s Quest headsets; called Quest+. Announced by CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Meta Quest+ is priced at $7.99 a month or $59.99 a year.

People subscribing to this plan can access the top two games of the month for free and keep them playing throughout their subscription. Meta announced Pistol Whip – an action-rhythm game and Pixel Ripped 1995 – an arcade adventure game, as the first-month titles.

In August, the company promises to add Walkabout Mini Golf and Mothergunship: Forge to this Quest+ library. Well, this subscription is available for Quest 2 and Quest Pro models for now and they will add the Quest 3 later this year when available. Talking about this, Meta said

“At a monthly value of up to $60, Meta Quest+ combines affordability with the convenience of a curated experience. We’re excited to give gamers on Meta Quest a new way to explore all their headsets have to offer.”

Hopefully, this would help the company rake in more revenue aside from the paid verification program from it’s other products.

Meta also offers an introductory discount to users who sign up for this subscription by July 31st, for $1 for the first month. After which, users will be paying the above-mentioned prices to continue. The company vouched to bring more games to it’s Quest space, with titles like Stranger Things VR, Assassin’s Creed and Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord in the pipeline.
