Meta says users should be at least 18 years of age, have their profile and photo updated with their face showing up, and meet some activity requirements to apply for verification.
Once you’re eligible, you should submit any government issues ID card to process the verification. Once done, any change you want to make to your username, profile name, DOB, or profile photo will require you to go through this process again.
