Motorola is preparing a series of new mobile phones to fill all available segments.
If before we have seen leaks about the latest Motorola Moto X4, this time it’s no joke, the entire Motorola line-up for 2017 was finally revealed through an image uploaded by Evan Blass, the owner of his Twitter account @evleaks. Motorola has prepared at least nine of the latest cellphone products, each of which is divided into five different segments.
Moto C and Moto C Plus
In the most bontot segment you will find the type of mobile phone “a million people” because the price is affordable. This phone will be named Moto C and Moto C Plus. Like a cellphone with an affordable price tag, Moto C will provide standard specifications to support essential communication needs such as telephone, messaging to connect to social media as well as suitable for those of you who want to migrate from a feature phone and plan to try to attract a smartphone. Moto E4 and Moto E4 Plus
Continuing to the next segment, is the Motorola E series. If the previous segment in the C series the mobile will only present standard features, in the E series that is inhabited by Moto E and Moto E Plus, the specifications presented will be a little more qualified in almost all aspects even though the sale value remains affordable. Among them are cameras with improved resolution, the use of processors with stronger and more efficient power, to the use of stronger body material. When viewed from the picture, the fourth generation Moto E will be equipped with a 5 inch HD screen with 2.5D angles for regular variants, and 5.5 inches HD for Plus variants. Not only that, the Plus variant was made even more excited by the 5000mAh battery capacity.
Moto G5S and Moto G5S +
In the “Unlimited Premium” segment, we will see the Moto G series mobile phone entrenched there. At first the Moto G series was a mobile phone with mid specifications at a low price. However, seeing the Moto G series mobile phone that is at the same level as the word premium is enough to make me surprised. As a result, the segment that will be filled by Moto GS and Moto GS + (will have the names Moto G5S and Moto G5S +, according to Evan Blass) will be equipped with a number of premium features.
A screen with Full HD resolution, each of which has a 5.2 inch dimension for the G5S and 5.5 inches in the G5S +, is required to be standard. Both will be cloaked in metal to protect the innards, but the Moto G5S + will get the latest features of the dual camera feature.
Moto X4
Moto X series, according to its nature will be above the G series. By relying on Moto X4, Motorola seems to try to revive the Moto X series which last year was not released. If you view the picture above, the mobile phone that targets the segment nicknamed “Unlimited Perfection” will have a screen body with fairly compact dimensions of 5.2 inches with a maximum resolution of Full HD 1080p. Then in the design sector Moto X4 will apply a glass material body design with 3D contours.
It is still unclear what Motorola means here, whether the corners are curved like some ranks of the Samsung Galaxy Edge or just use the 2.5D coating type only. Moto X4 will also have a feature nicknamed “Smart Cam” which again I don’t know clearly as to what the details are. Then is that all? Moto Z2 Play & Moto Z2 Force
This is the ultimate series from Motorola that will be present this year. By combining their innovations MotoMODS with the most advanced specifications, we will witness the birth of Moto Z2 Play and Moto Z2 Force which will fill the flagship segment titled “Unlimited Capabilities”. It is not at all surprising that Motorola chose this name, because it is also related to MotoMODS which is growing in number with a variety of functionalities. Of course this is one added value that is not owned by other mobile phones.
I have discussed Moto Z2 Play before in this article, for Moto Z2 Force, it seems that it will get some improvement using Qualcomm’s SoC even though it can’t be confirmed yet. Moto Z2 Force is also written to have a typical Motorola screen with a very strong Shattershield protection against various kinds of pressure. In the short specification column it also says “1Gb LTE” which indicates this high-end phone will be equipped with a very fast connectivity modem.
