Huawei’s Honor brand has recently introduced two of their latest Play series smartphones in China called The Honor Play4 and Honor Play4 Pro. Both will be 5G smartphones and comes with side mounted fingerprint sensor. They will feature dual SIM support and runs on Android 10 along with Magic UI 3.1
The Honor Play4 5G comes with a 6.81-inch LCD display along with FHD+ resolution. It comes packed with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800 SoC and comes in variants of a 6GB / 8GB RAM along with 128GB ROM.
It comes with a quad-camera setup on the rear end consisting of a 64MP (main) + 8MP (ultra-wide-angle) + 2MP (macro) + 2MP (depth) sensors. On the front end there is a single 16MP selfie shooter. It will powered by a 4300mAh battery along with 22.5W fast charging. The battery should be able to charge fully in 1.5 hours and gives about 170 hours of 3G talk time or 500 hours of standby.
The Honor Play4 Pro 5G specifications feature a 6.57-inch multi-touch LCD display along with 20:9 aspect ratio and FHD+ resolution. It comes packed with a Huawei Kirin 990 chipset and includes Big core + Tiny core GPU. It features an 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM.
The Pro variant comes with a 32MP and 8MP dual front cameras. On the rear end there is a dual camera setup consisting of a 40MP (main) and 8MP (telephoto) shooters. The smartphone supports 4K video recording and allows 3x optical zoom and 30x digital zoom.

The Honor Play 4 5G 6GB/128GB is currently priced at 1799 Yuan ($253 / Rs. 19,100 approximately) whilst the 8GB/128GB model will cost 1999 Yuan ($280 / Rs. 21,200 approximately). It will be available in the colours of Phantom Blue and Magic Night Black. Sale commences in China starting from the 9th of June.
The Honor Play 4 Pro 5G is currently priced at 2899 Yuan (USD$ 408 / Rs. 30,750 approximately). It’s a special edition along with IR Temperature measurement which will cost 2999 Yuan ($420 / Rs. 31,820 approximately). Sale commences in China starting from the 9th of June. The smartphone will be available in the colours of Magic Night Black and Mecha Blue.
