Google Wallet is expanding it’s list of supported banks, with 44 new financial institutions being added this week.
The new list mostly includes local banks and credit unions and a notable addition includes Venmo. Users can add their banks and cards to make financial transactions at any eligible merchant sites, or offline.
Venmo on Google Wallet
After adding support for an airline boarding pass last week, Google has now added 44 new financial institutions to it’s digital Wallet app, which includes local banks and credit unions.

A notable addition to the above list is Venmo, which offers a MasterCard debit card, processed by Bancorp. It joins thousands of other financial institutions to serve Google Wallet customers, who can add their bank cards for Tap-and-Pay easily at eligible merchants.
