As you can clearly see the above leaked image depicts the rumoured battery power of the S10 lite however in Portuguese. According to some of GetTechMedia’s trusted sources and also the fact that The Samsung Galaxy Lite has been listed on Geekbench benchmark site. We are led to almost believe that The Galaxy S10 Lite may feature a Snapdragon 855 SoC and 8GB of RAM. If this is so then Samsung could announce the phone before the end of 2019.
At the moment Samsung seems to be working on a Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite model, based on few rumours in the past and a new Geekbench rumour. Recently A new Samsung device with model number SM-G770F has been spotted on the benchmark site, and it is seems it will be call the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite. Up until this point there have been no teasers or an official confirmation from Samsung regarding the existence of the Galaxy S10 Lite, however with that said the benchmark listing does reveal a few specifications.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite will be a less expensive hence more affordable version of the Samsung Galaxy S10. But at the same time on the contrary Samsung already has the Galaxy S10e as its affordable flagship, and since it has been around eight months since the official launch of the Samsung Galaxy S10, we at GetTechMedia are now wondering if the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite will ever be released for sure.
According to GeekBench, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite will come with a Snapdragon 855 SoC processor. It is also packed with 8GB of RAM, which is more than the Samsung Galaxy S10e that comes packed with 6GB of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite will run on OS Android 10.
Samsung has launched a lot of phones this year (2019). The Samsung Galaxy S10 offers three models / variants already. While it doesn’t sound surprising to hear about a Galaxy S10 Lite variant, what is boggling to us is the timeline. 2019 is almost coming to a close and our attention now steering towards the Samsung Galaxy S11. So we beg to ask the question, “would a Galaxy S10 Lite make sense right now?”.
If all these rumours and speculations are to be believed and taken into strong consideration then Samsung is not only working on the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite but also a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite and a Samsung Galaxy A91 which are also rumour to come with Snapdragon 855 processor. It is entirely possible that only one of these Samsung devices may be released in the coming months or not. It’s always best to consider the Geekbench rumours with a pinch of salt until Samsung themselve officially confirms the device.
