How To Fix Phone Screen Yellow / White in Eye Comfort Mode Huawei Mate 20 / 20 Pro:
The screen”s color temperature automatically adjusts when Eye comfort mode is enabled. In this case, the color temperature will vary with the brightness level of the ambient lighting. In Eye comfort mode, the color temperature changes with the ambient light. If the ambient light changes frequently (for example, when the user is in an indoor hall and frequently changes the phone”s angle), the screen will appear yellow and white accordingly.
Solution:
This is a normal phenomenon, which is caused by frequent ambient light changes and does not affect your normal use of the phone. To meet the preferences of different users, color temperature adjustment is available.
EMUI 8.0 and earlier: Go to Settings > Display > Color temperature
EMUI 8.X: Go to Settings > Display > Color mode > Color temperature
EMUI 9.0: Go to Settings > Display > Color & eye comfort > Color mode & temperature
Magic UI 2.0.1 and EMUI 9.0.1: Go to Settings > Display > Color mode & temperature
then touch or drag the spot on the color circle, or touch Cool or Warm to adjust the color temperature to comfort your eyes.
