Fitbit has recently introduced their Charge 4, their newest health and fitness tracker. It will feature a built-in GPS for tracking pace and routes. It also features a greyscale backlit OLED display which responds to natural swiping and scrolling.
The Fitbit Charge 4 will feature the most advanced heart rate sensor which offers 24/7 continuous heart rate tracking. It will tracks all-day calorie burn, real-time heart rate zones and Active Zone minutes.
For fitness, it comes with more than 20 goal-based exercise mode with auto-exercise tracking. The fitness band is swim-proof (5ATM, up to 50 meters). There will also be sleep tracking, offering sleep score via Fitbit app. It will as well track light, deep and REM sleep stages.
Upon connecting the Fitbit Charge 4 to your smartphone, you will be able to control music / songs, browse playlist and podcasts from the band itself. It comes with a dedicated Fitbit App which offers access to health, activity and sleeping stats.
The band should give its user about 7 days of battery life. It comes with a unique do not disturb or sleep mode to mute calls and set vibrating alarms for reminders. You can also personalize the clock face. It also shows notifications for calls, texts, calendar and apps or when even your smartphone is in close proximity. You can also send quick replies on Android.
The Fitbit Charge 4 Blue, Black and Rose Wood color option prices will be USD$ 149.95 whereas the Charge 4 Granite Reflective Woven Edition price will be USD$ 169.99. Pre-orders are already begun.
