Apple is bringing it’s second-generation HomePod and HomePod Mini to Denmark, months after launching them in Singapore and some European countries.
Both these are available through Apple’s official website and authorized retailers across Denmark, with prices varying significantly when compared to their US counterparts. There are also code leaks pointing to the launch of both these devices coming to Israel later.
HomePod Collection in Denmark
One of the many devices that Apple focuses the least on is it’s HomePod series – where it buried the original HomePod in 2021, only to bring a similar device with slight improvements later. The company has even launched a stripped-down version of the HomePod called the Mini, costing less than half of it’s actual counterpart.
Apple brought both these devices(2nd-gen HomePod and HomePod mini) to South Africa, Sweden, Finland and Norway last December, followed by Singapore earlier this year and now, the company brings these to Denmark this week.
Available through Apple’s online store and the local authorized resellers, Apple says the goods will ship just a day after the order placement. Well, this can get longer depending on the demand for the products. For now, the HomePod mini was priced at 899 kr($133) while the HomePod costs 2,599 kr($384).
That’s way higher than the US listings of $99 and $299, respectively. Anyway, interested buyers can place orders starting today, says Apple. These smart speakers come with Siri and AirPlay built in and it also works as a HomeKit hub for managing the connected smart home devices.
Regarding variants, the HomePod mini is available in black, white, blue, orange and yellow, while the 2nd-gen HomePod comes in White and Midnight.
